@stephen10nelson @oncor I’m spitballing but the heating element in an electric heater might use significantly more power than the coils in an A/C. Since we’re in Texas, most of us have electric heat instead of gas furnaces like people up north.

@oncor @ERCOT_ISO Pardon our power was rolling blackout, but now has been out since ~3am and no ability to report it. If your system cannot take the load, figure out how to use Twitter or another system that can scale better than yours.

Would love to see a map of the areas dealing with outages. The “rolling outages” do not seem to be evenly distributed. I know too many who have not lost power once yet other neighborhoods have for hours on multiple occasions. Why? @oncor

@robfwtx @Bahareh54 @oncor we've been pushing gas for decades. it ain't rocket science. it's also got a lot more to do with the electric company being a for profit company and not a utility now. i wish we would convert to gas in wv...and ours been out for three days now on my farm.

I don't understand the discrimination that only very few apartments in our community has power and the rest got an long outage from 2/15 8:30 pm onwards in zip 75080. Its not called a area wide outage. Can your team explain this difference in service @oncor

No power from 2/15 8:30 pm in Richardson TX 75080 area, no alerting to folks at all for larger outage. We were frozen and called a friend in the middle of night for help @oncor

Seriously @oncor @ERCOT_ISO It’s literally 31° inside our home NO power for 24hrs. NO more firewood & low on food. I have my elderly parents & child I’m trying to protect! Remind me why my parents & kid are not as important as your customers in #HighlandPark!

@oncor This is quite unfair. Please give people power back. You guys have people going hours ( for some a whole day now) without power in 4 degree weather. You guys are creating a state of emergency, that has nothing to do with a grid at this point.
